About Us

Our Mission

image2

Operation Soldier's Heart exists to be a pillar of support to ALL active duty service members, veterans, Blue/Silver/Gold Star families, caregivers, and spouses.

We seek to share the message of His hope, meet our heroes and families where they are, educate, share resources, and give the tools needed to engage the enemy and fight the conflicts within. 2 Cor 10:4

Battle Plan

  • Educate: Define PTSD, bring awareness, share our story, post traumatic growth
  • Share: Resources, studies, guest speakers, referrals, hope
  • Community: support network, deployment packs, volunteering, recognition throughout the year for military holidays and events, support our local veteran organizations

Our Story

Jeff is a wounded warrior, who proudly served in the US Army. He was deployed twice to Iraq for OIF/OEF with the 101st Airborne and 96th MP. Among his injuries, he sustained two of the most common invisible wounds: PTSD and TBI. Jeff's story is his to tell. You may view his video at the YouTube link above or click on the video below.

Together, we (Tammy & Jeff) have walked through reintegration back to civilian life, navigated multiple VA hospitals, gone through the processing of applications/denials/appeals, poured countless hours of time and energy into research and resources, and received a very hopeless prognosis...battling the truth vs. lies stacked against us each day. Today, we celebrate a thriving marriage, have two beautiful children, and a passion for our military families and all heroes who served/currently serve.

"Soldier's Heart" is the battle fatigue/shell shock/PTSD of the civil war. This is a matter of the heart and of the soul, for spiritual healing, which is so important.

We hope to be a light in your journey, intentional, a constant, and share in both celebrations and burdens in life. We can relate. We've walked the walk. Our military families need rest, a safe place, someone to listen, and no pushing or prodding! We just want to love you hard, meet you where you are, and get in the trenches with you. No one fights alone!!
